So, SFZ+ Professional is a "SoundFont player". Does that mean I can download soundfont files from the internet, and they'll load into SFZ+ Professional without anything else needing to be done to them? Do I have to save them to a certain folder so SFZ+ Professional can find them? Will SFZ+ Professional then give me a list of all my soundfonts so I can choose the one I want far any particular part of a song. As you can see, I have no soundfont experience - but it seems like a useful option. Thanx.

pretty much, well you need to choose the patch within the sound font once loaded

I have extreme sample converter, so I just use that to convert them to other formats, inc dim pro

That's the deal.  There are some good ones out there.  You might want to start looking on kvraudio.com.  They have a good font search.  Biggest problem is that there are different compression tools needed to uncompress soundfonts after downloading them.  This dosen't have anythingto do with SFZ+, just a file transfer problem.

"...choose the patch within the soundfont once loaded" - do all soundfonts come with a patch programmed with it, or do you need to create a patch for some soundfonts? And I assume multiple patches can be created for one soundfont.

they are generated when they make the soundfont

it'll give you a list of whats available anyway I'm sure.
