Prunes are a persistent and insidious entity. Compost does describe it pretty well though.

I have an issue. I bought a keyboard controller for 79$ just so I could get Sampletank 3 for free. Problem is, I hate the controller, but I still want to at least keep the free software (Sampletank 3). Can I sell the controller without providing the buyer with the serial # and such? In other words, can I at least recoup the cost of my lousy controller I paid way too much for? It's really worth like 29$ It's the I-Rig MINI which works with Android. Utter piece of crap. I-crap.

I don't believe you have an issue here. In all fareness you ordered an item that cost $79,00 for the sole purpose of getting Sampletank 3. As far as I can see it, you bought Sampletank 3 for $79,00. If you never look at the keyboard controller again,you have achieved your goal of getting Sampletank 3 at the price you wanted or could afford. Children always want to have their cake and eat it too. You have to think before you buy anything. You are ahead. Just leave it at that.

I spend a lot more than you on ST3. So be happy and make some good music with it. I end up using it more than KU10 in my production. Imho it has a lot of useable sound. I like to use it's bass, mallets, guitar, percussion, organs occational drums for my production.
