I had not issues with the early access version.  Yesterday the Bandlab Assistant updated to 3.0.8.  It showed an update available for CbB; i clicked "update"; it said "dowloading" but it never downloaded anything.  I ran it all night and it still says "downloading".  So I unistalled bandalb assistant and reinstalled it this morning. Then tried the update, but it still never downloads CbB.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

More info.  I can get bandlab assistant 3.0.8 to install the "add ons", but it still has the "Update" available, and when I click on it, it just says "downloading" but it never downloads the Cakewalk update.
Also, I disabled my antivirus and firewire to see if it would help, but it has not.

Solved.  I do not know what worked, but after trying over four times, it finally updated.

This is not a good thing. Not impressed at all, People will be turned off real fast.
I know I'll eventually get the update, but why should things like this take so much effort? Been 11 hours now.
From day one the new Cakewalk is Awesome but the bandlab assistant is reminiscent of Shareware half arsed software.

Maybe you could try yoga or meditation or a cup of tea.
When I updated yesterday, I did notice that there were 2 instances of the assistant in Control Panel - Programs and Features list. Maybe that is part of the problem. I uninstalled them and just installed the latest version of the assistant and it worked and updated OK.

Hats off to BandLab for doing a great job. They've brought us back and I'm enjoying the journey. I'll tip them a little in a couple of days, and looking forward to paying for Z3TA+ 2 asap (and Rapture Pro further down the line).
