Hello,
I know, there was a Thread times before, but can´t find it. Have Problems (Windows 7 Pro with newest Updates) with NI Kontakt (newest Version and Updates) and Session Guitarist Strummed Acoustic : the gui is overlaping. I´ve heard about to switch the cervice center (from german) to english and try again, but the same error. in all other daws (Pro Tools 11, Sonar X3/Platinum, Presonus Studio One) i tried, it works fine.
Is there any help or (new) solution out there?
Thank you and best regards
Jens

sorry: works fine in Pro Tools 11 and Studio One but NOT in Sonar X3/Platinum... :-) my mistake... :-)
NI Session Guitarist Standalone works as well.
All other Kontakt libraries are working fine in X3/Platinum.

I contacted NI regarding a garbled GUI I was getting and this was their response...maybe it will help your issue:

Hello randy brown,

Please check the information at the link below to optimize your Windows 7 setup
and avoid general performance issues.

If you are experiencing an issue with your installation or registration, note that
you must follow the advice regarding turning off the UAC (User Access Control)
features as well as any antivirus software:

windows-tuning-tips-for-audio-processing:

and

updating-your-windows-installation-can-help-to-avoid-technical-:

Afterwards, the scrambled GUI generally is a problem with your audio interface
being shared by multiple applications. This can cause some Kontakt instruments to
have their GUI look like a mess. It is best to have your soundcard be used by one
application (your DAW should have priority) and not shared by any other
application. Plugins in your host will also have priority as a result. You may
want to check with the soundcard manufacturer in regards to updating the drivers
as well. It's best to use the ASIO driver for your device.

Hello Randy,
thanks for your reply. I will check the audio interface things later, when I´m at my music-pc.
funny, that the guitarist works fine in the other daws without any tweaking.

I think so, I haven't noticed the issue since unchecking "share drivers with other programs" in Sonar prefs.
