Here's looking forward to a new drum map UI away from preferences, audiosnap and take lane enhancements and fixes. Anything to boost functionality introduced before Platinum.I keep hoping.... Nice enhancements anyway.

+10 on the Drum Map UI

I have to say that Sonar Platinum has been a very
worthwhile investment.  It just keeps on getting better,
even without all the "added" things, just the overall
feature improvements during the course of Platinum
has been outstanding, both in terms of usefulness, and
in terms of value added.

My hat is off to Cakewalk, Noel and the boys, and everyone
that has obviously done of a lot of work to get these things
implemented, and to Craig for his continued presence and
contributions to both the Forum and the Product.

Compared to Pro Tools, which hasn't had a single update
really since the release of V12 8 months ago, even though LOTS of new
features were "promised", I think Cakewalk has delivered
on every front, and I sure hope that the Industry takes note
of this and makes a paradigm shift towards it...

Great job guys...and you're only half way through the year!
(the REAL question is "how are you going to top what you've already done? )

I think a lot of us would like to see that, and maybe saying the obvious... but if that were to really come to a solid fruition, I would hope it just keeps giving Cakewalk a long, secure future and even more reason to continue at the pace they are now.  The more "success" Cakewalk earns, the happier all us users I'm sure will be that we've chosen Sonar.  Quite frankly, I'm thrilled with the product and honestly, the updates are coming at a really fast rate.  The added stuff has totally been pure bonus.

I think the important reason to keep current is that it takes me a year or two to adopt a new feature. If I wait some years to update, it slows my own learning curve.

Sonar is great! Yeah, it's time to slow down on the content. You can have too much of a good thing! Loving everything so far. Fixes and stability always welcome! Oh, and we could use an instant "HIT" button. LOL!

The update cycle as it stands could use refinement as each update is forcing me to undo unwanted installation changes. The Cakewalk Content folder shows up on the C drive and the picture cache went there last update. Too many "surprises" to deal with. As I rebuild the machine from scratch this weekend I am seriously debating not reinstalling Platinum.

I agree the CCC seems to be a problem for many people. Hasn't bothered me much and everything running fine. Was looking forward to Rapture but glad I held off. Someone dropped the ball on that one. I thought it would be straightened out by now so it must be serious. Other than that...Hope CW solves your problem "Mettelus"

6 months in new membership (professional version), have to say not to impressed so far , much emphasis on
added soundpacks and the platinum version that seems to get the most of feature for money,  so far the midi paint roller and mix recalls are the features that ticked boxes for me , we will see what happens in the remaining half year but ......?

But for your less stuff, you pay less.
