That assumes that I am capable of coming with a valid search term for whatever it is I am clueless about!

Usually if you get close at all someone else will have used the same terms in a related thread, and you'll either find what you want or find more/better terms to search.

If you Google the key words from your initial post against the forum URL, you'll find many threads on using Set Measure/Beat or Audiosnap to align the timeline to audio.

There is a better way!! And now I have my own little database! I d/l'd everything. I just realized that since I signed up to Office365, I have 1 tb at One Drive. I'm gonna move most everything off Google(15gb) and Dropbox(5gb).

Thanks guys!

You also have OneNote with that as well.

I keep Notepad pinned to my Task Bar, and it is a quick copy/paste and save, to add it to a folder of tips I have created for Sonar Tips.

I usually name the text file with what aspect of Sonar the tip has to do with, and that makes it pretty easy to find general areas of things that might be useful for a project.

In addition, from the search box at the top right of a Windows Explorer window, I can type in search terms, and it will search in the folder I have navigated to in Windows Explorer. making it pretty easy to find things I think I made a tips document about.

I should do this as well, but I keep forgetting most of the time... I have some bookmarks, for the things I forget easiest
But I usually find what I am looking for here anyway

FSF?

I make sure to take daily snapshots of every page of the FSF due to the rampant editing. It is very time consuming but I figure one day it will be useful to the authorities in the inevitable trial. I could also sell it to the surrounding media circus for big bucks.

Beepster gonna get PAAAAAID, ya'll!
