Hi friends.
In a project I have many midi tracks, but I want to export just some (or one) of them to a midi file. How can I do that?

Thanks

You can drag and drop individual MIDI clips directly from a track to the desktop or target folder. If you want to export a subset of tracks as a Type 1, multi-track MIDI file, you'll need to isolate those tracks in a copy of the project by deleting what you don't want, and Save As .MID.

The notion of dragging a midi clip to the desktop is cool, but it does not appear to pick up tempo; and be very careful, Sonar's double-select indications can fool you.    I just highlighted a track, exported, but track 7 is included when I open the selection in Event List or PRV, along with track 6, while only track 6 was exported, and with all tempo data missing, and the clip reset to begin at 0:00:00.
