In command centre occasionally I've found , aside from actual updates, my connected products seem to become disconnected, indicated by red point, and that they require installation (re-installation), when highlighted, although they all actually still function properly. Any known reason this occurs, am I doing something to cause this? (e.g. changing password possibly?)

I suppose changing your account password may cause the Command Center to reset. The Command Center indicators reset as a result of logging out of the Command Center.

OK thanks, so meaning you have to remain logged in indefinitely, and no way to re-establish the green light than re-installing everything (or simply ignoring red light)?

You don't have to stay longed on indefinitely just don't specifically sign out of Command Centre. Even if you're not connected to the net that seems to do the trick. Once you break that it seems to break the cache of installed products.

If you do need to reinstall remember that Command Centre stores all the downloaded files and will use them again. U less of course you've deleted them on purpose. Check the gear icon on the top right corner of Command Centre for a path (that you can change) to where the downloads are kept.

I have mine so it points to another hard drive for example. That way my boot drive isn't clogged with unnecessary data.

thanks, I also save downloads to another disk to conserve my SSD c:\drive, but it still takes awhile to reinstall some features even something that's actually still there, I guess at this point ill wait for next patch, and not logout either, appreciate your response

cheers
