I've just noticed all my Cake Midi Plugs have gone astray. I'm not a regular user of them, so cannot say when they escaped. They show in the plug in manager, and scan, but when I try to load one into a midi track, I get the missing plug dialogue. My next port of call was to see if I could reload them through the Command Centre but I don't see that I can. I would appreciate any ideas.
Thanks

Hi. You could try a vst reset. Not sure if it includes MIDI fx though.
Best of luck.

MFX plug-ins are registered the same as the DirectX audio plug-ins. They are not part of the VST scan process. Based on modified time stamps, I am pretty sure the plug-ins are installed with the SONAR Platinum core installer. The plug-ins themselves are located in "Shared MIDI Plugins." If you are not a regular user of SONAR, you may updates pending in the Command Center. The update to the SONAR Platinum core will reinstall and reregister the plug-ins.

Thanks...I am a regular user of Platinum, just not the midi plugs. I've found them exactly where you said, thank you, but they just don't load for some obscure reason. I have no updates pending. Perhaps the only way to get them installed would be to load Platinum again, but it seems a drastic measure. Thanks anyway to both answers.

If it were my issue, I would call Cakewalk support.
