So, what will the cost be for those not on the Platinum plan?

I've been informed that if you want Platinum features you have to buy Platinum.

In the other Drum Replacer thread, It was stated that it wasn't going to be available as a plugin. It's part of the Platinum code.

I'm interested though I am not currently using real drum tracks, I imagine it'll be very useful, anyway.

Noel's comment about "misusing it", is what has my imagination at the moment.

I was reading a comparison of Drumagog and Trigger 2? (I think it was called Trigger 2). Either  or both of them said it could use drums from any drum program like EDrummer SD2 ADD2 and others to replace drums in a recorded drum track where there is too much bleed or other problems.
I hope it will be simple, easy to use, and able to use any drum sample available. I imagine it will be.
Workflow, it matters.

I have never used Drumagog but Trigger and Tigger 2 can only use Slate Samples. You can export midi to trigger (pun intended) other programs. Bleed has never been a problem and it's pretty intuitive. I am looking forward to Cake's release.

That's not true because Slate also released an editor that allows you to user your own samples.

I haven't heard anything about this! I did a search and came up empty. I would love to know more about this, can you point me to it? Thanks.

Sorry if this has been answered but how soon exactly is "very soon"? As I said I've got a project that this will likely help with and I was actually intending on focusing on that after my current shenanigans are over. Would like to get a good handle on this new goodie before so I'm not hamfisting it.

And are we going to get some thorough documentation along with the release? Like an addendum to the manual? A lot of the stuff with platinum has been very cool indeed but much of it is self explanatory, documented and/or not as complex/pertinent to more important work I'm doing.

This seems like a very in depth tool and the more I think/speculate about it I really would like to master every facet of it so I can apply it to this upcoming adventure. In fact the reason I have been studying so hard for so long is so I can get this album together as professionally as possible (and it is going to take every trick in the book due tot he nature of the recorded material). If this is going to do even half the crap I think it will be included in the equation and I need to learn as much as I can about it before I begin.

Again, apologies but you got me all kerfluffinated and excitamacized. Need info or may asplode.
