Somehow I have managed to kill off all of my often-used Boz Digital Labs VST3 plugins.

The VST2 versions of all of them still work just fine, but now I would have to re-insert a VST2 version and transfer the settings from the VST3 version in order to get many, many project to play again.

Any thoughts from The Illuminati?

By default all 64bit VST3 plug-ins install in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" and Boz Digital adds a folder under that path called "Boz Digital Labs" for their plug-ins.

SONAR by default adds "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" to the VST scan path in Preferences > File > VST Settings which would pick up all the plug-ins in that path and the subdirectories.

Make sure the scan path is correct and the vst3 files are in the correct location. The fix could be adding the path to Preferences or re-installing the plug-ins if the were deleted by accident.

The path is good and all of the dot-vst3 files are present there.

Is there any secrets to the two checkboxes Hide related VST2 plugins and Replace VST2 Plug-ins When Opening Projects?

I have Hide Related... checked but all of the VST2 versions of my VST3 plugins still appear in the list.

And I have Replace VST2 Plug-ins un-checked.

Perhaps I'll uncheck the Hide Related... and see what happens.

Thanks for replying.

The idea of the 2 checkboxes is that
1) if you have both VST2 & 3 installed that the VST2s are hidden in the plugin menus
2) if you have projects with the VST2s inserted then by default they are replaced by the VST3 version.

Maybe do a Plugin reset and rescan.
