I'm a newbie when it comes to audio editing, and I'm having a small problem.  In Sonar, there is a tiny "pop" noise that occurs precisely where many of my audio tracks end and also, at times, where audio tracks begin. (For instance, at the end of a recorded guitar clip, or at the beginning of a vocal recording, etc.)  There are zero pops/unwanted noises anywhere else.   
 
Anyone know what's going on/how to fix this?

ADDED: These "pops" usually occur when I have "split" clips.  

Sometime when you split a clip and it's not at what's called " zero crossing" you will hear a pop.

I forget where it's at but there is an option that you can set that will always clip/cut at " zero crossing"

Happens to me sometimes too.  The solution is to fade in the clip. Just hover at the start of the clip with your mouse till you get the red line and drag just a bit into the clip.  Pop is gone.

A newb question: Could someone explain in a bit more detail how you fade just a small portion of the clip?  
 
(P.S. I tried selecting Snap to Nearest Audio Zero Crossings in the Snap menu, and it didn't do anything.)

I think I found a solution...I just took the clip and "stretched" it a tiny, tiny bit.  The pop disappeared.  I have no idea why it worked, but it did!

That would be the "snap to zero crossing".

Yes, you actually have to slip-edit the edge of the clip until it snaps to a zero crossing.

Yes, you actually have to slip-edit the edge of the clip until it snaps to a zero crossing.

Just to point out, any clips you made "before" you enable "zero crossing" will still have a pop in it. You would have to manually readjust the edges of the old clips before they would have a "Zero Crossing" on their edges.
