On a seperate note, regarding the birth of techno/dance/trance music........I thought it was obvious and everyone knew that the true pioneers handed it down from POLKA!!!!

I went to high school in Frankenmuth during the late 60's. Polka was a big deal. The yearly festival hosted a few days of most excellent drinking and dancing.Saw some pretty good accordion players.

Michigan in the 60's was a great place for music.

Do folk musicians argue over sub-factions of their genre that nobody else would recognize?
I once volunteered to do live sound for a folk show
(well, my wife volunteered me for a badly organized show).

Texas, summer, no break, no water no food.

And hours of singer songwriters.

When I die and if I don't make it,
I know exactly what hell will be.

Some good lyric fodder here.
Especially the last two lines.

It is a well known fact that ants, pound for pound in comparison to other animals, possess sooper strength. They could easily lift 20 Wonder Woman Bapus like they were a feather.

In other words gravity matters not... (to ants).

Bapu is referencing the alleged hover-car that Craig promised for this version. I do know on good authority that CW does have an area 51 behind their garage that is very hush hush.   But you didn't here it from me.

Still waiting on that Free Beer Prochannel module.

seriously I would laugh my nuts off if they coded that in even if it didn't do anything...

new order isn't "hardhouse", it's synthpop. you need to realize that what is "mainsteam", "commercial" or even "released" bears no. connection. whatsoever. as to what is what and how things originated. atkins was making underground proto-techno in 1980. it was barely distinguishable from electro but still. again I recommend looking at ishkur's page.

an bundled drum machine instrument would be a complete waste of time on cakewalk's part, precisely for the reason that battery 3 (not 4, that's ghastly) exists and that there is noooo wayyyy cakewalk even with their best effort could make such a comprehensive instrument. the step sequencer is what they need to improve on.

Frankenmuth is AWESOME! Had a lot of fun there. Saw a good accordian player too, btw. It was at the Bavarian looking restaurant on the main drag.(That narrows it down, right?) Such a cool atmosphere. I was sorry to hear of Mr. Bronner's passing. Sorry to get off topic. Carry on...

Oh, man... did I post in the EDM debate thread? I was trying to avoid that.

Just as bad as metal genre debates except I'm even less interested.

One goes "beep boop badda badda badda" the other goes "chuggity chug chug SQUEAL squonk squonk squonk".

Who gives a turd? You either like something or you don't. Yeesh.
