  • How to merge audio clips without any changes to the sound?

My audio engineer wants me to merge files that were auto-separated during a recording.  Basically something like after 2 gigabytes, the audio splits so we have multiple tracks for each mic.  Anyway, he uses Pro-tools and I use Sonar X3.  If I load the audio and line it up and bounce it, will Sonar "color" the audio at all if I have no post processing nor plug ins or anything?  I can see that the volume I hear and the volume it bounces to are not the same, so I tend to have to adjust volume and such but my ideal would be to simply combine and export exactly like the source audio.  Any tips on what I need to do?  Thank you.

Sonar does not "color" the audiofiles.
We have made a test for 2 years. I imported an audiofile "x.wav" and exported this as "y.wav".
Both files (Import & Export) were bit-equal. Without any distinction. No changes.
Volume, pan and gain must be "0". No plugins.

We do "bounce to Clips" several times a day without any changes in sound and volume.

We digitize large volumes of tapes and vinyl for customers (Thousands of gigabytes). Therefore we know that Sonar does not make changes.
