thanks maartian - you went above and beyond there my man (girl?) yeah the pack looks okay and the 5/4's are not simple "Take 5" patterns...some of the grooves are nice. I might still look at some Toon track gear though...can't have too many hey...especially as a drummer I make a great violinist :)

Speaking of violinists...Lindsey Sterling. She's gonna be my first test of Drum Replacer. I loved her YT videos, so I bought her eponymous album. Ouch! The bonus "orchestral" versions are listenable, but I can't stand the main tracks. There's a drum machine kick panned dead center, mixed way too loud, on every song. Listening felt no different than getting a root canal.
I'll take Crystallize or Transcendence and use DR to replace that kick with something I can tolerate. I'd like to be able to listen to the rest of the mix.
