In trying to get CW off my C drive altogether, I may have deleted too much.

Now Platinum is reporting valid 64 bit VST instruments as 32 bits; and the "VST Configuration Wizard" tool (vstconfig.exe) can't be found anywhere on my computer.

Any ideas about how to fix either problem?   (I tried reinstalling the latest two platinum updates, Dorchester and Everett, and neither improved the situation)  See image for how Inserting a VST Instrument shows the 64 bit things with (32 bit) .. and they load restricted to 32 bits too.

Hi. Are you using CCC to install SONAR? If so, I would try to do a uninstall, and reinstall from CCC. You may have to do a registry clean up before installing again.
You can choose where to install Cakewalk Content in SONAR (preferences (P), File, Folder location). You can also choose where you would like to install your vst (X64 and X86) and vst3, via CCC settings.
Best of luck.

Try performing a re-install of the Artist Instrument Collection to get Session Drummer 3 and re-install Platinum Instrument Collection to get True Pianos.

This may not apply to your situation, but I had a lot of 64/32 issues that I fixed by finding the dlls for the 32-bit versions and renaming them (like renaming piano.dll to piano lld. or piano.32b).  Sometimes the 64 and 32 bit dlls have the same name but are located in different folders, like Program Files v Program Files (x86), where Program Files (x86) is the 32 bit instance.
