Is it possible to download CbB at work, then take it home on a thumb drive and install it there (over the last SPlat in my case)?

Edit:
They won't allow me to install Assistant.
It will have to be a download of the program itself.

BA is used to download and activate CbB. The machine that will run CbB must be connected to the internet for the time it takes to install BA, download,i install and activate CbB.

Yes it seems CbB is not for those who do not have good internet at home. I used to be on a Cell Phone Smart hub. It only had 3 GB per month. I did all my downloading at other peoples houses.

But I wonder? what happens if you download and save the installers, transfer to a new computer and hook that up to its limited connection. That would at least save the bandwidth.
But if you have no internet your only choice is to take that machine to a place were there is.

It doesn't work. In the old CCC you could download and just put them in the download folder under CCC and when you clicked to download it found them locally in the download folder and worked easily. Bandlab cannot find the files. If you install by double-clicking the files when you open  CbB it goes to Demo mode. I hope they fix this issue as everyone does not have super-fast Internet connections.

You could also download the files straight from your product page.

That is what I was looking for.

I thought I saw Noel say it's something they're aware of.

H'm.
Well, I'm hoping that's not the final word on the subject.
Thanks for the link.

If your DAW is a Laptop this is not a real problem.
But ya, it sucks to drag a desktop around, but I have had to do this myself not that long ago.

Yea, my local library really doesn't allow us to do that...
