I'm trying to make some simple velocity adjustments on an organ track, and I'm not hearing any difference in the playback of the Cakewalk Sound Center softt synth. Sounds exactly the same to me  Does CSC have this capability? Using SPlat "Everett" release; the update with fixed drum maps that was supplied to us by Noel here:

The synth responds to velocity changes. How is responds is program dependent. The velocity layers are defined in the sfz file(s) associated with the program. CSC does not expose its program elements making it difficult to analyze the program details. It is possible to see this information in DPro and Rapture, the two synths playback modules used in CSC. The program names are the same between the CSC, Dpro and Rapture so it is possible to use DPro and Rapture to see which sfz file(s) make up the program. If the program is from a DSF expansion pack, sometimes it is possible to figure out the sfz file(s) use but it is guesswork because they only exist as CSC programs.

it seems that this is only happening with the Hammond B3 DSF sound pack I bought for CSC. The other patches that shipped with CSC seem to respond fine to velocity edits.

Maybe it's by design...if I'm not mistaken a real Hammond B3 isn't touch sensitive?

oh, didn't know that. I have noticed that most of the organs in DPro and Rapture seem a lot more velocity sensitive.

That is true - traditional organs are not touch sensitive, so eliminating it is a more accurate representation.   That said, I actually prefer it for adding percussion/clicks based on velocity.
