It's been just over five weeks since we launched Rapture Pro, the long awaited successor to both Dimension Pro and Rapture, and we have been listening closely to your feedback. Rapture Pro Update 2.0.1 is an update to the Rapture Pro core installer, and contains several new features, fixes and workflow enhancements. Click the link below to read the Knowledge Base article for the full list of fixes, or download the update now available in Cakewalk Command Center.

Is there a link to the update. I did a custom install of it and did not use C3 to install it.

First enhancement request, please put in a product version number in RapturePro_64.exe file.

After I start RapPro is it 2.00.01.509  ?

Thanks...

Still has not addressed the amount of time it takes to load the VST window, nor the fact that it causes Sonar to hang, and in some cases require a system reboot. This is for VST 3 as well as VST 2 version. I am running an i5 (3+ghz) with 8 gig ram so it is not the system imo, but the VST itself.

Isn't that a version number?

Maybe you mean displaying the version number on the GUI?

@archnaut - The feature request is on the exe file itself, there are version numbers elsewhere else... This is helpful when I'm sorting through files and is a defacto standard when pushing out builds. Where it installed confused the hell out of me this time around but I think I figured it out.

Can anybody confirm in the GUI it's 2.00.01.509  ?

Also @cakewalk is the log file still hard coded to C:\Cakewalk Content\Logs - thanks..

Has it actually hung yet in Sonar or not?
The second time it should take shorter once it's scanned the files in I guess??

Regardless it appears to does take a while to start (standalone) but that could be the fact that I don't see a reassuring splash screen when it starts (that's not great at all), and I don't like the behaviour whereby it scans all the files on startup every single time, would prefer a manual trigger, unless I'm not understanding something.

We could do with some options to increase the Windows height.
Still no file path settings.
Still no way to relocate prog files?

And...

Assuming the log file still hard coded to C:\Cakewalk Content\Logs
RapturePro_64.exe file needs version control.

Don't take this as all negative ... This could be a positive first step... I haven't really used it yet.
