the moving cursor....
that shows the progression of the tracks as you play them...
and automatically jumps to the next screen, especially when you are zoomed in for doing volume automation edits..

mine now goes off the screen, and then you don't know where you are in the song.
the screen has quit 'chasing' the cursor (that moves in time)

what the cuss?
help.

That's called the Now Time and the screen probably stopped scrolling because you accidentally pressed the Scroll Lock key on your PC keyboard. Press that key again and SONAR should start scrolling the screen.

If you are actively editing during playback, the now time will scroll off the screen because the program assumes you may need to make more changes in the current viewable area, to resume scrolling right-click in the timeline or toggle the scroll lock on and off.

awesome guys,
thanks.

i looked in the help files for a friggin' hour,
looked at "now time" as well, but it didn't point out the hot key solution....
i'm on sonar 6 PE, and every once in a while, something weird like this happens,
and i'm just lost.
LOL

Sonar 6 didn't have what Scook describes. That came with X2 I think. Scroll lock is the other cause and has been with Sonar forever.

yes,
and if you look at the manual,
it doesn't mention it anywhere.
