 The most important thing though is to have fun and enjoy it which I totally have. I have tried other softwares in the past but MC7 is by far the best one I have used personally, I think its great.

Indeed.... you have to enjoy what you're doing or else it's not worth the time to do it.  And yes.... sometimes the simple, no bells or whistles, software... in this case...Music Creator, is the one that works the best. It has everything you need to make a good recording without all the extra's to distract you.
