Cakewalk Inc. had such a great installer, why did Bandlab scrap it? With Cakewalk Command Center you had a couple of advantages compared to this crippled Bandlab installer. You could:
- copy the downloaded files to a 2nd computer to avoid additional download times
- update separate packages alone (not one single cluster, like that you could avoid problems like with the newest CbB version conflicting with TH3 and Breverb installation).
- revert to an older version for each package.
- clearly see what was happening during installation, what is installed, what versions are available.
Even if CbB is free, I really don't understand the reason for the regression!
