I'm sticking with HS for the moment and have the above issues
 
Since upgrading to Win 10 and HS from Win 7 and Sonar 8LE the Apro editor has not worked - I have tried reinstalling it a couple of times but to no avail - any ideas. All I can get is the generic ACT controller window which I am struggling with. My transport buttons on the A800 do not work either - not sure if the problem is related. 
 
Just installed UVI workstation 3 and it does not save midi learn when I move to another patch - checked another couple of synths and they seem to keep the info if I change to another patch
 
Any thoughts on either of these would be greatly appreciated
