Been a long time since I've been around these parts! Just upgraded on a whim from Sonar 8.5 to Professional. Is that 9 through 13 i skipped?  I wasn't even sure a 6 year old laptop would run it! Damn .....smooth as glass! Those quick tabs at the top right like "custom" are worth the price of admission! Cakewalk Pro Audio 6 /   Sonar 3/4/8/8.5/ Professional ....no regrets

Not completely sure what i think of not actually being in possession of my install files except in the account cloud but Command Center seems pretty slick.

Cheers guys!

The install files are there, you can keep them, delete them, or archive them to a secure location at will. Mine are in:
Local Disc (C:) -> ProgramData -> Cakewalk -> Command Center -> Downloads

Personally I've been leaving the most recent there while testing a new update, in case they're needed for rollback (I don't know, not having had to roll back yet!) but then moving them to an archive disk to conserve C drive space, since so far there doesn't seem to be a way to control where they get downloaded to...

Hi. You can specify where the downloads go under settings in CCC (the gear symbol on top right, choose download path). I chose a separate HD for downloads through CCC, to save space on my C: drive.

Aha. That's even better. Hadn't noticed that, thanks for the tip!
