In the E release, the visual extension for CCs is no longer done for each track, but for all tracks with the same CC number at once, which results in something unreadable and uneditable if the PRV contains several tracks with the same CC number. This even happens with a single track in PRV, if the PRV was used with a different track before and both tracks use the same CC number.
 
The image below shows how the CCs look correct with a single track in PRV, and how it looks with both tracks in one PRV.

I can reproduce the behavior here running "Everett".  The behavior returns to normal when I rollback to "Dorchester".
My example looked even worse than yours.

Found an additional CC lane problem in "Everett" that is probably related.
1. Open track 1 containing CC# in PRV and lock it.
2. Open track 2 containing same CC# as track 1 on same channel in second PRV.
 
Expected results:  Only track 1 CC should display in locked PRV and only track 2 CC should display in new PRV.
Actual results:  Only track 1 CC displays in locked PRV, but CC from both track 1 and track 2 display in new PRV.
 
"Dorchester" produces the expected results.

I would clarify that SONAR has always shown "ghosted" controllers for other tracks in the PRV if they're on the same channel. The issue with Everett seems to be that the controller "shadowing" is now being shown for ghosted controllers.
 
 

I realize this post may be slightly OT, since the issue I noted in post #3 above is not an identical scenario to the OP's report, but I believe the two issues are related since both began in the "Everett" release.
 
I created problem report CWBRN-33383 "Opening a new PRV window displays CC events from wrong track" to report the issue in post #3 above.
 
Repro Steps:

1. Create new project
2. Insert 2 MIDI tracks
3. Select Track 1 and press Alt-3 to open PRV
4. Click "+" in CC lane and add Modulation lane on Channel 1
5. Draw modulation events with Smart tool
6. Right click Piano Roll - Track 1 tab and select "Lock content"
7. Select Track 2 and press Alt-3 to open a new PRV
8. Click "+" in CC lane and add Modulation lane on Channel 1

Expected Results: The Modulation lane should be blank in the Track 2 PRV following Step 8. This was the functionality verified in "Dorchester" and all previous "X" versions of Sonar.
 
Actual Results:  Ghosted Modulation events from Track 1 are displayed in Track 2.
 
While I was verifying the Repro Steps, I tried to edit the ghosted CC data with the eraser tool and Sonar crashed creating a minidump.  The minidump was sent to Cakewalk, which auto-created problem report CWBRN-33384.  I added a comment to the original report referencing the minidump problem report number and noted the manual problem report number in the minidump.
