I was guessing based on the readable portion of the error message. A playlist is a type of file created by SONAR. See http://www.cakewalk.com/D...;help=Playback.37.html

Thanks for the link, never used it. Didn't know it was there. Does Sonar create one automatically within your project?  Yup, I gathered the same idea from the readable portion, that was good!

No, it is a different file type created using a special template and saved with a .SET extension.

So.... is there anything I need to do? This has happened twice in three days. The first time the project was reopened with all analog racks empty, the second time the project was recovered a bit more usable, second time it  was recovered from a prior save, not recovered from the crash itself. If memory serves me , both times I was recording to an audio track, (sorry, I tend to use the term analog, when I actually probably mean 'audio') not using midi of course. Can't blame Everett, its never showed up on my CCC to be installed/updated...

Crashing is not normal. You might was to call Tech support. They might be able to help with your stability problems.
