Except for Boost11 (which is installed by the main Sonar installer)

Which was apparently fixed In Dorchester (wasn't) and still not fixed in Everett.

Thank you, scook. I too would not have been aware of this.

My gripe is that the fx suites just installed to a default path when installed *manually*! Perversely, I'd have been better installing them with CCC, as that is set for the correct VST path.

We still need some type of good old fashioned "verbose", install method - where we can pick which vsts to install and where to put them. That way, if you have paid for the full Breverb or THD or Truepianos - they won't be overwritten!

Idiot proof is fine, but we need a way to turn it off.

Yup it's a tiny bit of a PITA for me having to delete Cakewalk breverb and move yet another new installation of boost11 every time.

I'll need to start reading the update documentation more fully. Wish it was easier for those of us with pre-CCC installations.

What's a pre-CCC installer? Do you mean X3, or installing the current versions without the use of CCC.

This is the thing - it's not a major problem, but it's so easily fixed - by giving us a good, old fashioned, (optional if you insist) interactive installer ;-)

Man, I just blew my coffee out through my nose. Creating a Windows installer, easy. lol.

You do know that you can use the manual installer that gives you all the options as per previous installers. You just don't get the pretty CCC lights to go green. With file names and the eZine each month you'd be hard pressed missing anything. Just thought I'd mention it but I figure you would know.
