Here is an odd one.
• I always have an SI-Elec Piano track with the song's melody and lyrics for use while writing and arranging.
• Today, if I make changes or add words in the Lyric view, when I go to Staff I see the notes doubled, usually not in time with the original music.  In other words, the original melody will be there starting in bar 4 beat 1, and a second copy of the notes will start in bar 4 on beat 2.
• Conversely, if I make changes in Staff, the I find the words doubled in the lyric view: "She She loves loves you you yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah"
 
Paste/Replace of a good melody from verse 2 (with no lyrics) over a messed up verse 1 in Staff will cause doubled lyrics.
 
Basically, all screwed up.

Before entering lyrics try bouncing the track to one clip.

Thanks.  I was just wondering if anyone else ever had this.  I cannot edit the melody or lyrics to this song.  (And, of course, that means the world is having to wait on a huge hit!
 
I am going to try saving the words in Notepad (which I always do as I go anyway), saving off the MIDI, deleting the track, and creating a new track.  (In this case, I mean the individual track—not the whole song.)
