Okay. I find myself doing this a lot and wondering about a short cut.
I have a drum track(midi) where I want to remove the hihat every time a snare sounds. I've always gone through and removed each hit where it occurs.
Can this be done all at once? Somehow select the snare and then have hihat events removed wherever it occurs?

Hi . . . what you're looking to do can be accomplished by using EDIT - SELECT - BY FILTER
 
 - you could select all the hihats (eg select all F#3 notes) - then specify which beat(s) to filter (eg beats 2 and 4)
- then delete

Excellent. Sometimes I get stuck in old habits for so long I don't even consider that there is an easier way. Lol
