Took advantage of the Waves sale. I have lots of limiters, compressors, delays and multi band processors  already. So wanted to go for something I never had and decided to for J73 Tape Plug-in and F6 Floating Band dynamic EQ. A lot of times Waves in the past have produced credible effects whilst others are not that great compared to the competition. 
 
Anyway I'm really liking the J73 as it does more than saturate, add noise and tone. It can be used for delays, warped effects like you hear on Boards of Canada albums and even some vintage sounding hipass which sounds great to age string parts.
