For a long while we have had a lot of control over our "view".
But it's a matter of opening the windows you use, laying them out and saving that LENS or screenset. And as all things Sonar there is always 2 or more way to do the same thing.
It's a little quirky still as sometimes my screensets don't stick and older projects open in a mess.
Sometimes choosing a differnt lens and then re choosing my Advanced resets everything correctly.
I think they removed the Synth rack for the same reasoning they didn't include it in Home Studio. I like having the Synth rack and it was one thing I did not like about Home studio.
You don't really need it, but I myself like the visual of what is being used without digging around the track view. I also like using it to open VST GUI's.
