OK glad it's working - but I hope you don't have the same issue on the next update, there's a good chance you might be in the same territory if it's environmental to your PC config.
 
If it's a Sonar bug (unlikely I suspect) it won't get fixed without being troubleshooted and reported to Cakewalk.

... although without knowing what the exact problem is the problem report will probably get nowhere....  It's not really a confirmed bug. Ringing or emailing support is best option, sticky above.

It is NOT WORKING. I have to revert back to the last release (UP2). Kinda suck.

I already emailed Sonar Tech support. Waiting for answer. Hopefully it is not a bug & I don't have to report anything.

Just to update.
It is confirmed from Cakewalk technical support that the problem is coming from 'Dorchester' update.
This is a quote from email I received from Cakewalk technical support.

I tested your procedure and found that this does indeed occur in the latest (Dorchester) update only. I have forwarded this information to our development team so that this can be addressed in a future update of SONAR. However, for now, I would recommend that instead of using the Record button in the middle of playback, you simply click the Record button (or press "R") from a Stopped state

Hope they will resolve all the bugs from 'Dorchester' ASAP. It is kinda frustrating.
