Tried to find info on this in the manual but searching a pdf document is pretty useless unless you know exactly the terminology used -- occasionally, like now, I see what appears to be a lagging Now Time cursor, a variable distance behind the normal Now Time cursor ... as if it represents some processing latency.   It only seems to show up when things are acting buggy, but maybe that means I only have latency during problem times?   Is the double cursor (two vertical lines moving across the tracks window) normal?   Can it be managed?

Are the two cursors just a fraction apart William? It looks to me like the screen updates are not occurring fast enough.  Is it happening in more than one project or have you only noticed it in one?

I have seen something like this before.

Just did a little test because I thought I had seen it before on the same project with out the synths being frozen the cursor is single but after freeze I am seeing two cursors about a mm apart.

Now cursor is (still) a separate window from the Windows perspective. I remember several issues reported about it, some was fixed back in X2. Other was never confirmed.

Check your NVidia drivers/settings and as as Windows graphic settings. I mean in case you have ever changed any defaults in them or have some external graphic utilities installed.

Checked that because that was my first thought John, but there does appear to be two distinct cursors
