Is it possible to download beatscape somewhere?
I don´t see it in my account, or do I have to download the whole Sonar 8 installer?
 
Would be great to have a slicing tool in SPLT..

The installer and sample library were always separate from the other installers. Just like DPro. SONAR 8 is not available as a download. Prior to X1, I believe it only shipped on disk. IIRC the first download version of Beatscape was part of X1.
 
The program is not available separately.

OK, things may have changed, you have the benefit of seeing your account. Originally SONAR 8 was not offered as a download. Download versions of SONAR started with the 8.5 upgrade which required SONAR 8 already be installed. Pretty sure the download 8.5 did not have a Beatscape installer but cannot say for sure, I bought disks. The Beatscape installer bundled with X1 consists of 2 files, part1 ~3GB and and part ~1GB. Of the 4GB the major is content, of course. Prior to X1, I only have Beatscape on disk.

What exactly do you want to do? There are several ways to slice files in SONAR.

IMHO, audiosnap worked better for beat slicing than beatscape.
