This is a matter of simple common sense, and it's hard to persuade that into a person who lacks it.

If the OP wanted to sell the extra Melodyne Essential license, I believe that's prohibited by the Cakewalk EULA.

I've been talking with my local senator about how software corporations are creating undo stress and mental health issues with their lake of quality control and responsibility to put out problem free software. You think it's bad now with car recall? Just wait.

Well, it's not like you now get two multidocks, or "extra" anything with the upgrade. I agree with earlier posts, sounds like you have some designs on what to do with that extra serial.

You mean somebody AT Sweetwater agreed with you... probably to get you off the phone. As a licensed distributor (and a reputable one) they would understand how software upgrades work and would have knowledge of individual releases such as this one. If not, and they are advertising otherwise, then THEY are the negligent party here. Not Cakewalk.

Notice how nobody here is under the same illusions?

nearly 800 views and not one word from a true Cakewalk "employee".
"Forums hosts" are just that.

All I see is the "expected" group of forum participants. ;)

This is a user based forum and the Cakewalk employee's don't always visit here. I would imagine they're busy working on some new feature for us.

Have you contacted Cakewalk directly (per Scook's post)?
