Long time Sonar/forum user here. I've never really had much interaction on the forum, started a few threads, commented on a few others, generally I like to read rather than discuss. Also, working daily using several DAWs (multi platform) mean that I rarely have the time to interact, so apologies for that.
I think the maintenance of this forum has improved 100%; no more (or at least far fewer) spam threads clogging the place up, threads being moved to the appropriate place etc. All very good work by the forum hosts and staff.
However, the over zealous and condescending nature of one or two of the forum hosts, and all the bickering about them is the main reason I stopped visiting as often as I have in the past several years. I've no doubt that side of things have improved, I would hope so.
Looking around here today (not sure when I last visited) I can certainly see far more interesting and useful threads than before, so long may that continue!
I think Craig Anderton has had a great influence around here, from what I've seen he's the guy that keeps the place balanced. Mostly
A few years ago, with the departure of the Robin Seth and Brandon, the forum lost it's mojo. I do believe that under the parental guidance of Craig Anderton, the forum has gradually been regaining it.
