Hello all
I have just purchased sonar professional and attempting a music to picture project. The imported video and sonar's timecode are not syncing. I have matched frame rate and followed all steps in sonar's help to check settings etc...to no avail.
 
This is a problem I had with Sonar 7, but with Sonar 8 no such problems. I've skipped a few versions to get to Sonar Professional and just assumed that such a current version wouldn't have this issue, but for me it does.
 
Any ideas?

Soundcard: Yamaha Steinberg UR22
DAW: Sonar Professional

Which kind of video format are you using?

I have tried avi and quicktime, both with same results.

Only MP4 really works correctly and only if you switch the Video engine.  See this thread
