Hi Everyone ,

Just a quick question > If i wrote some midi data at say 285 bpm and want to bring that into a 128bpm song and not loose the midi data integrity > is there a way for the midi data to be converted to a lower tempo ? like where the midi notes will shrink or expand depending on wether you going up or down in tempo?

Thanks In Advance

The midi data will automatically take on the tempo of the new song. It sounds like that's what you want, but I'm not entirely sure based on your wording. Which version of sonar are you on? If you're on 2015, or whatever you want to call it, you can also slip edit the length of midi clips, which offers a lot of flexibility. Otherwise, if you're on an older version of Sonar, you can use the Fit to Time feature to achieve the same thing, it's just a little clunkier.
