Hey guys,

New to Sonar here. Just purchased Sonar Professional version. I am not finding many beginners tutorials for Sonar Professional here or on Youtube.

Can anyone offer any suggestions where to find these tutorials?

Thanks.

They won't be specific to Professional.

Here's a link to various resources. Right at the beginning of this forum. Scroll to the bottom of the page.

Much of the info about X1 and up still pertains to the new versions, so they are worth watching also.
Groove3 might also be worth an investment for you.

If you get stuck somewhere specific, these guys around here are good about trying to help when they can.

I really liked the extensive SWA videos over Groove3, a lot more detailed and the way Karl goes through each element discussing how to set each part up to suit your needs I found far more thorough than Groove£. The SWA was for x2, but it's virtually all still relevant.  They have a new Sonar Platinum series started too.

Here the start of the new series, I'm not seeing a search function on their website to find the older videos

ugh, dangit, I had Streamworks and G3 there until I rewrote the sentence and left it off.

I usually add G3 to the suggestions because they have several  good "outside the box" tuts, general recording, theory, etc., and better than Lynda etc.
SWA has the best software specific vids I've seen, and the ones on Sonar are available from the CW store.
And Scott Garrigus for his Power series of books on Sonar.
