Nobody ever talks about this. Does anybody use it?

Never really liked the sound of it. Never have a use for such a heavy handed reverb sound.
It has too many controls for my liking, and the presets always need a lot of tweaking to get it sounding right in a mix.
I have other reverbs that do it better.
With Sonar Platinum recently adding the ReMatrix convolution PC module, Breverb will probably never get used again on my system. I knew the first time I used ReMatrix, that it sounded so much better.

Just remember convolution reverbs are CPU heavy.
It might not be the greatest thing to use when playing live or recording.

I use the full version of Breverb on backing tracks for live performance. It does have many controls, but that is it's strength. With some tweaking it can sound great.

I actually really like it. I have mostly switched to ValhallaVintageVerb but BReverb can sound great on some tracks. I've used it on lead vocal with great effect, and on synth tracks.

EDIT: FWIW, Rematrix is an impulse based reverb, which makes it completely different in sound. Also, impulse based reverbs tend to have relatively high latency so if you need to use a reverb during tracking it's actually better to use an algorithmic one like BReverb.

I use it because it has enough controls that I can tailor the sound as needed to suit the material (e.g., high diffusion on percussion, low diffusion on sustained sounds).

It is heavy-handed, but once you twist it in a little it can sound great.
I can't think of any one type of thing I use it for more than others... I just go by my ear-bone.

Have never really loved Breverb. I really wanted to but, just not happening. I mean, it's OK just not great. Too intrusive sounding for my taste.

I've got some great results with Breverb after a little tweaking.
