I bought 2 new ProChannels today and it's triggered some questions.

How are they ordered in the selection box? The list of prochannls available to add seems mixed up.  The reverbs are far from each other, yet both made by Overloud, Boz +10 eq and compressors are next to each other, yet Bark is (which is an eq) is not near them. The saturation types are close (Soft Tube, Tube and Tape) but seperate from console emulations, PC4K and 76 are next to each other, yet CA2A is way above (I'm waiting on a redemption code, so no idea where Concrete will end up?). The latest addition are not at the top or bottom, not sorted by type or manufacturer. Seems unintuitive.

I can't see a way to re-sort these, is that right?

Also why is a buss compressor available in the channel strip. Is it just because some people would make use of it and it has a different flavour than it channel compressor sister, so it's in our favur to have both available?

I'm hooked on them though, when I read on other forums users of other DAWs whinging about why would anyone want them over normal VST, I'm grinning to myself that they are missing out is the slickness of it all, and they are missing out

EDIT: Original post seemed like I was referring to chosen PCs not the choice of PC's to choose from.

If I understand your question correctly, you can choose where you put each PC module in the top to bottom order.  just right click on the top of the module which is already inserted (the EQ cannot be removed, so there is always at least one module in the channel strip) and then choose the module you want to place above that module.  if you want to reorder them, just drag them.  if you want to replace one or remove one, that's in the menu that pops up.

Just occurred to me, 'is everybody's in the same order?'

Yeah, I use that compressor on channels sometimes.

Sorry Beagle, but I think my above picture explains better, when you are selecting a Prochannel, the list to pick from. (will edit)

They're in alphabetical order.

Actually now I've posted I can see all but the FX Chain are in Alphabetical order. I was looking from the bottom up and couldn't see the reasoning before.

Crappy order to have them really.

Yes you cannot custom order your list. I think fixing this is on the works already.

Do you have both the PC4K modules, if so, what makes you lean towards one and not the other. I haven't got the PC4K module, but it's on offer at the moment. Picked up CA2A and Concrete, and umm'd and ahh'd and read threads on it, but decided to hold off. Seeing how clustered my list is and Concrete still to show, I'm still not persuaded
