Or make the list without icons that show when you mouseover the menu...

Crappy order to have them really.

I have been complaining about this with phone books and encyclopedias for years, but no one will change it! :(

And to add to this feature request - Add 'em in preferences.

The reason I suggested the PluginManger was because it already exists, GUI is there and perhaps it wouldn't be too much work for a ProChannel list to be shown on the left as we now have VST, VST3, VSTI etc.

Then just a matter of a default layout with a user editable option the same as all the other plugins. That would at least save someone the work of a special dialog and GUI for the ProChannel. As per the current PC layout you would b able to order them the way you like even creating folders as we can now.

Damn those yellow pages, keeps listing businesses together by type!

I knew this before I downloaded, but just added 8 VKFX and being V is the 4 letter from the end of the alphabet, these are all at the bottom of the list and most accessible.
 
I'm wondering if the was a more manual way of getting around this. Could I rename the PCs in windows explorer, maybe adding numbers to the begging of their names, so the become numerically ordered. So compressors/limiters could be 10 (at the bottom of the list) with EQ and high pass filters as 9 above them, 8 for saturation/distortions FX etx?
 

I just realized I missed Dan's post by being cute... Some users have this list scroll off the screen, so Dan's suggestion of removing the icons (or even making them smaller) would be highly beneficial (with mouse over). IMO, on the name itself is fine by itself since many descriptions are verbatim... those two would collapse the list a great deal (as is).
