I'm using Sonar 8.5! I want to create a sidechain between the kick and bass ! How do I do ? Please help me ! Thanks

This is the best SideChaining video I've seen.
 
It's aimed at Prochannel - but things should be transposable to Sonitus Compressor / Gate. (I've pumped the mix through Sonitus)
 
It shows 4 techniques:
0:04 - Rhythmic Gating
2:14 - Vocal Ducking
3:28 - Kick to Bass
4:31 - Pumping the Mix
 

 
 

Sonar 8.5 only supports side chaining with the Sonitus comp/gate due to a VST2 limitation. Try this:
1. Insert Sonitus compressor/gate on the bass track.
2. Set it to external/side chain. Yank down the threshold for good measure so you can hear maximum effect during setup.
3. Insert a send on your kick channel, direct it to the Sonitus SC input.

Basically you're done now. Adjust to taste.
