Check if a authorization [ OK ] type box "popped under" and is hiding behind another window. You probably just need to click "OK" or "DONE" or something like that.

A lot of times it's that annoying "Windows has protected your PC" dialog.

Mine was held up by a Webroot dialog box warning me the program was attempting to connect to the internet. I had to make an exception so that it could continue.

Yes. I had that. The files took a unusually long time to finish but I just let it go and eventually it finished. I assumed that it was the BandLab servers experiencing high traffic. As mentioned above, watch for any minimized warning dialog windows.

When I installed the window was stuck with the message "installing" for about an hour and I just closed it and found the 2 downloaded files and ran cakewalk.exe. It installed with the same windows and prompts we've always had. No reason to run instruments.exe if you've already installed the instruments with Platinum.

I used it today and for me it worked better than Plat as far as crashing. No crashes, very stable. Hopefully tomorrow will be the same.

Mine just stays at %100 and doesn't do anything for hours.  i'll see if a file actually downloaded

This solved my problem.  I had to force quit bandlab assistant and i searched for cakewalk.exe file.
