Just wondered if anyone had any comments. I can apply the same techniques to create other types of non-natural impulses if there's interest but if not, no big deal...there are plenty of other fun things to pursue.

Enjoying them immensely actually.I used one for a grouping of Backing Vox to add some interest and another one a very dense grouping of distorted guitars.Really added a little something special.Just let is percolate back there client was very happy.Thank you! :D

Exactly how do you use these?  Are they just "fancy" reverbs?  I don't understand how and where to use them.

They are user impulses for REmatrix Solo. There's information on how to install them in the Dorchester release eZine. They're not "fancy" reverbs as much as different reverbs, like backwards reverbs and impulses created from "idealized," synthesized rooms.

I used one for a guitar track - it doesn't come across as completely unnatural, rather, it happened to be the sound I was looking for.    Oh, and the reverse reverbs are pretty cool BTW.

I've explored them a bit but not really dived into them yet.

Personally I tend to think the more impulses the better, especially unusual ones. There are loads of impulses of spaces and hardware reverbs already, while yours add something new to the mix.

I always try new IR!!! I forgot which one it was, but I I stuck one on ReMatrix and Rap Pro and really thought it was great. It's still on it.

But I didn't try anymore. I mean I used that one and inspired me and I kept playing with the synth patch!!

It's so easy to do market research around here...just post a question
I have some more ideas for IRs so based on the response, I'll pursue them. Again, like most of my content, they'll be designed to provide something different.

Mr. Anderton, I can't find the new impulse responses.  The NYC Showroom impulses were installed into the Cakewalk Content folder on my system.  Where can I find the Dorchester impulses.
