  • anyone having trouble with kontact 5.5?

I recently replaced my hard drives and everything was working ok.  I upgraded to Dorchester and things seem to be OK.  Next I updated Kontact to 5.5.  Last week I started getting hard freezes on my computer.  I have to unplug my computer to get it to reboot after freezing. 
 
I'm assuming it's Kontact 5.5 causing the trouble and hoping the hard drive is not failing.  Is anyone else having trouble with K5.5?

Check the NI Control Center again. There was a very recent update.
Please update your audio interface firmware and drivers, run Window update several times until all the patches are installed, and finally do this this.
 
This will at least give you a baseline to troubleshoot under if the issue persists afterwards.

yes,  the recent update is giving me the trouble...I think (kinda hope).
 
But the Rescan thing...that is something I'm looking into.  Thanks for that!!!

FWIW, no issues with Kontakt 5.5 here - working (at least) the same as always.
