What's the update on this?

I think both Idea's are cool...
However I think that what would work would be to incorporate Number 1 & 2...
 
Meaning, go out on the road to visit sonar users studios, but have like maybe 10 ish sonar users in attendance (if that studio could hold that many folks).....Have each one bring ONE project bundle with them and then at the begining of the day select the Home or host studio user help with one of his tracks and then select one or maybe two others in attendances help with their project.
 
Video the whole thing and then upload to your fav media outlet.
 
this way you will get to meet and greet many folks, there will be no need for crowd control so the pizza guy could get there, you would reach a large audience with your video uplinks, you will get to see how we use sonar and have 1st hand knowledge of what kind of tips and tricks the regular guys could use...etc......

Too Bad Tampa Florida may be a little further than you would like to go...
Oh well....I will watch the vids!

What's the update on this?

Good question. I've been, shall we say, a little preoccupied lately.  But is that cool, or what?!? And tomorrow I leave for Europe to go to Musikmesse.
 
Right now mid-May and later is on hold because I may be going to Ibiza for a big dance music event...so I'd either need to throw things together fast for early May, or wait until June. 
 
For me, the road trip event is much more flexible because I can schedule it any time as long as that schedule matches up with people who want to be visited. I still think Gibson's Nashville showroom would be the ideal place to have the get-together so I'm tracking progress to see when the renovations will be done.
 
Don't worry, this will happen once all the moving parts line up. I'm really excited about both of the elements!!

You're gonna love Ibiza! It's just like Mexico, only smaller.

Nashville but April is a "no go" for me and May is iffy. Summer is better, at least for me. Video everything!! This sounds like something that, if it goes well, will def not be a one time event.

So anything new on this - trying to plan some things for this summer and want to know what weekend to keep open.

Living in Italy is a bit of a stretch I suppose?
Still, great idea, especially if you could sort out something online too.
