ThIs
I've just bought the Sonar Artist to evaluate the program before getting one of the bigger versions. My experience this far of the program ain't good. I can't intall the 64-bit version, only the 32-bit. I'm running Windows 7 SP-1 that's all up-to-date.

The error message I get is the following:

c:\Program Files\Cakewalk\SONAR Artist\Stretch.ax
Unable to register the DLL/OCX: RegSvr32 failed with the exit code
0xC00001D.

Have you tried installing it as an administrator? What is your setup / configuration (pc, RAM, HD, audio interface etc)?

I've tryed installing as Admin by right-clicking the installer and using the run as admin. I've read the link you shared and I've tryed all those things in the post already with no luck.I have a new i5, 16Gb RAM, 4 WD HDD's that's running Cubase smoothly. I've also tryed to install my brothers copy of Sonar X3 Producer 64-bit and I've had no problems doin that. I uninstalled it again and did a clean install cleaning the registry but my Sonar Artist still won't intstall the 64-bit version, but the 32-bit version works fine. The Audio interface is a Babyface with the latest firmware and drivers.

There is no file strech.ax - only stretch.ax - typo?
If not there is a bug in installer.

I assume you have 32-bit version under \Program Files (x86) then, or?
Thinking if you changed path, so they install on top of each other.

Either way, I would uninstall 32-bit version and try again....
