Hi Gang... (Edited for renaming the edit filter... Senior moments in action)

Either I'm not doing this right or it is not available?

I have a number of lanes on one track displayed and wish to change them all to clip gain (example)...

I've tried selecting the lanes and using ctrl while selecting the envelopes, but it only changes on the current lane... Same for adjusting said envelopes for all the lanes simultaneously...

Ok... That may be a limit of the edit filter and lanes...

But then I switch the lanes back to clips (manually one at a time) and find the envelopes still being displayed in red... Active... To change it I now have to close the lane displayed and then change the track's edit filter separately as it seems to change to clip gain but not change back or something? It also does not give access to clip gain until the lane view is closed...

Again, these bits of tedious issues keep me from appreciating any benefits of Lanes and the Edit Filter...

Is this a bug?

What I know for sure is that quick grouping doesn't work in lanes, and the drop-down you're talking about is called Edit Filter, not Event Filter.

Yes... I have been mixing those two names since we got them... I'll fix my message in a moment... Limited web access so I couldn't get here sooner...

It feels a little amiss not being able to quick group Lanes... Thanks for verifying that for me...

Doesn't your desired group all lanes equal the whole track. So edit at the track level not the individual lanes.

I wish it were that simple... I actually tried a version of that thinking I could change the track's edit filter changing all, but that didn't do it as the track,s edit filter doesn't appear until you close the lane view... No matter what I tried I was forced to manually change each lane...

Back and forth opening/closing lanes was just as tedious...

I'm really surprised with all the attention to lanes with comping that this issue would/should have been addressed?
