Hi all,
I was hopeful in seeing this in Dorchester...."Fixed VST scan issues that could potentially report an incorrectly high plug-in count" but obviously I have multiple scan paths set.
VST Scan reports 307 plugins,
Browser shows
Audio FX 54
Midi FX 7
Instruments 104
which simple math = 165 plugins. Something I thought about for awhile in that I suspect I may have duplicated things when moving plugins around to different drives.
Is there a quick way, perhaps a search for *.dll to locate all plugins, make note of their locations, compare to where I am scanning in Plugin Manager and then begin to manually clean up ? Any suggestions ?
While VST scan is quick and the reported 307 number is not bothersome, my nerdiness says I must fix this.
Thanks for any comments offered.
Best To All,
Bill -
